The #momda Part 2!
So, I had to get a new car. I needed a bigger car. Two babies, their bags, my bag, a hubs, maybe a gran, a stroller, instruments and possibly MY SANITY were WAY too much to fit in my first #MOMDA (a 2014 Honda CR-V). I called it a momda.. because it was clearly a mom vehicle. It wasn't very sporty or COOL.. but it did the job. Loved that car. It was my second Honda and I can attest to the fact that they last a really long time and are VERY reliable. But after that 20 hour ride to TAMPA with all our stuff... it wasn't going survive ME, I mean - another long road trip without casualties. So, I traded it in for the much roomier Pilot. It hasn't been a week yet, but I'm in love. My favorite accessories include the rear entertainment system with wireless headphones (that allow the folks in the back to watch what they want and for the folks in the front to listen to what they want - at the same DAMN time) and the built in window screens. Yeah, I know that seems like a simple thing - but you have no idea how I've fought with the suction cup screens the last 3 years. We could even fit another car seat on the second row if we had to - while still being able to seat 3 adults in the back. It would be tight - it it's doable. The gas mileage isn't that different from my CR-V either. BONUS! I'm excited to get this baby out for a roadtrip!. First stop - #MommyconCHI2017
